Noise in ear

looking for any similar situations .
Every night on my when I live down I hear a noise like a lorry in the distance changing gears to go up a hill!
I know that sounds v specific!
so like a drone that changes tone every few seconds.
Also happens whenever I lie down.
I don't think it's tinnitus

Could you be anaemic? If you google the symptoms of it it’s quite a common one to have a noise in your ear when lying down (something to do with the pressure in your ear behaving strangely because of lack of oxygen in your blood cells)

Yes it's tinnitus i have it,it is terrible,i get various sounds from someone talking in another room, muffled,to even the sound of a tap running,
I have got out of bed more than once thinking i have left a tap on
Can be caused by stress or at least made worse by stress
It is actually driving me mad at the monent
