Eczema:Child’s farm versus doublebase?

Hi there
I’m in the menopause and suddenly have stuff I’ve never experienced before - like dry skin and eczema. Had a bad flare up back in jan/feb, zapped it with steroids under consultants advice and frequent applications of child’s farm unfragranced. But in the heat it’s all come up again. Just wondering whether I should try something else? Child’s farm is the only thing that doesn’t sting - tried dermol 500 it stand quite a lot. Double base not so much. Anyone have any views on these products and which have worked best? Also should you expect a bit of stinging for it to do any good? I’ve done one arm in each and the double base feels a lot softer about half an hour afterwards but child’s farm feels v gentle even on sore skin. Just wondered how people had found them both?

Aveeno has been the one that we've used for my sons flare ups. It has oatmeal in it which is meant to be good for eczema. In fact when my dc was a baby I used to give him oatmeal baths when his skin was bad.

We use the Billy and Belle organic bath oil and body lotion and it really works, they've won a few awards for it.
