I had a breast pump biopsy taken and it came back with abnormal cells they were clear that it definitely wasn't cancer but want it removed in case it should become cancer down the line. I can't remember the name, fibroendenoma maybe..

Adenoma is a generic term for any tumour derived from gland tissue. A cancerous form is an adenocarcinoma.

Adenomas can progress to adenocarcinomas via a series of steps under particular conditions, usually involving genetic factors.
