he is having a rare lie down (only his second afternoon one since saturday). in 20mins we need to go down the school. i know he doesnt need these naps as much as he did before, as he has spanking new heart in his chest, but a part of me feels i should leave him asleep and get the girls on my own. he looks so so peaceful lying there.

No le him snooze, you'll be quicker on your own and then the girls can wake him up

Let sleeping Peters lie, is what I'd say. The weather's horribel today. Let him be all nice & refreshed for when the girls get home from school.

Get in with him and get someone else to pick the girls up (grin]

If i dont get him out of bed then he wont do his daily walk as well. he has been in bed for am hour. and dd1 will blast him as he meet6s her then walks round the reception to meet me and dd2.

leave him!

stand over him with your hands on your hips and say:

"listen up matey - just because you've been ill for, like, years, it doesn't mean you can lie about in bed all day. Now get out of bed you lazy arse and pick the kids up from school"

or maybe not
