Sore right breast when pressed

Morning, last night in the shower I noticed that my right breast felt sore and tender when I touched it. I always check my breasts in the shower for any lumps, it’s a habit I’ve got in to. Today, af arrived. I’ve never had this type of pain when having a period before, so wondering whether I should call the doctor or wait to see if it subsides? It’s still painful this morning. I can’t feel a lump anywhere and left breast is fine

Try not to worry...I get pain in my left breast just before af. Its hormonal. If it will put your mind at ease do contact a doctor x

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I’ll see how it feels once af has passed and try not to worry. I’m sure the doctors has enough on their plates at the moment xx
