I am keen to get a breast reduction before i turn 40 next year, but not sure where to start? Had a look online and it looks like it will cost about £6.5k?
I'm in the south east of England and don't know anyone in real life who has been through the op, can anyone recommend a company to start me off? I know i will have to look around and have consultations etc but obviously I want to go with a safe and reputable company.
Also - my BMI is 29, i wondered if anyone knows if you are required to lose weight beforehand. I'm not massive, but i am in the overweight category.
Thank you!

Hi there,

I am also considering having a reduction as I've always had a bigger chest and constant problems, i.e. Bank Pain, Blood marks, drooping boobs, pain when exercising etc...

I would also need the information I live in hull and I don't have a clue where to start.

I would be grateful for any information anyone would like to share, I have 2 children 9 & 4 so also worried about the impact on them if I do have the surgery or how much pain, what if something goes wrong I've got so many worries. Please can someone help... Thank you

Hey I’ve booked to see a consultation on the 25th may to have mine reduced. I live in the midlands and I just looked at the reviews of surgeons in my area.

I don’t think your required to lose weight but if that’s your ultimate goal it’s best to get close to your desired weight as losing weight can make your breasts smaller. I’m currently bmi 25 and trying to lose the last st before I have surgery.
