Advice regarding knee support

Hello, I need your wisdom, DH wears a knee support to help with pain, but as it is getting hot, he is getting a heat rush every time, what do people do to avoid this? Thanks

Fix the knee problem through strength and stability exercises? Only wear the support when absolutely necessary?

Yes, Physio working on that, on the mean time and about the rash....

The rash might be helped by rubbing talcum powder on the knee before wearing the support, if it is a heat rash.
If it is a reaction to the material could he put something else under it?
Does the support thing get washed or does he have a spare?

It gets washed, I made a cotton underthing, to wear under, it seems to help, I read online about using deodorant as well better than talcum, it is new so really don't know, wasn't expecting the rash

It sounds like you're doing all you can, I guess in that case at the times that he's not wearing it use some kind of cream dot the rash, like savlon or sudocrem depending on how it looks.

Thanks, figuring out as we go, when not using aloe Vera gel seems to help
