Hi all I’m new to the site....
Have recently been prescribed Amitriptyline, with a starting dose of 10mg to help with pain and sleep. Would be great to hear about anyone’s experiences with this. Always feel anxious when starting new medication.
Thanks

I was on this medication for nerve pain and to help me sleep and it worked really well. It made me tired and I'd be asleep within an hour so if it has the same effect it's worth experimenting with the best time to take it. Also gave me a really dry mouth in the morning but that eased with time. I eventually worked up to a high doseage which was great for me. I did find it to be one of the nicer drugs compared to others I'd tried iyswim
