Bleeding from vagina after straining for bowel movement

I'm due on my period in a couple of days and have been having bad PMS
yesterday I strained really hard for a bowl movement (sorry tmi), and the after I noticed a bit of bleeding from my vagina (definitely came from here I checked )
I had a smear test done a couple of months ago which was clear and I had a baby 9 months ago

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar ?

I have health anxiety so always think the worst

Oh no! Did you manage a full BM after straining so hard? If so, perhaps it could have stretched too far & slightly torn the bit between your bum & vagina.
