Anyone suffer from warts on hands?

I feel quite embarrassed by this and wondered if anyone had found a solution other than just removing as they arise.

I seem to be prone to developing warts on fingers and hands since my mid teens, so around 20 years. I can go a few years without any at all but then a new bout will start. I am quite good at spotting them early on now so they probably aren't noticable to other people. I tend to treat with salycylic acid which burns them off within a couple of weeks but as soon as one has gone another ones pops up somewhere else. I therefore go through periods of a few months with plasters on my fingers/hands and have to make up excuses when people ask why.

I don't want to leave them as i'm worried about my dc catching them and I have a baby who I obviously handle a lot. It is really starting to get me down.

I am generally very healthy and rarely ever ill even with colds so I don't feel that I have a particularly low immune system.

I just wondered if there is anything that has worked for anyone else dietry or supplement wise?
