He wonders if it a side effect of his asthma medication/aloeVera/fish oils that he takes

But I can't see much on the internet

Any ideas?

Can be a sign of ill health or not drinking enough.

Katymac · 16/09/2007 10:31

Well he is poorly all the time - not ill tho' He never drinks enough so I'll suggest that (it's one of the things that annoys me anyway)

Too many anti-biotics no doubt

Does he clean his tongue as well as his teeth?
Also, it may be worth him having an asthma review just to make sure he is taking his inhalers correctly as most people squirt it in their mouth, rather than doing it as they inhale, so it doesn't get to the correct place.

Thanks vole - he does clean his tongue

Also he has a 4 weekly asthma review as his chest is very poor

some asthma inhalers cause thrush.

Agree with vole.

I'll get him to mention it at his next appointment (week after next I think)
