Thrush? Maybe?

It feels like I'm peeing razor blades. Some ahem, discharge that looks like tiny bits of scrunched up loo roll (but def not 'cottage cheese' like which is mentioned by Dr. Google) Not smelly. Really itchy Blush

I'm on double antibiotics (which I know don't cause thrush but make it more likely??) for an abscess and I've also just bought a bike so I'm feeling a bit battered because of that!

I'm 42 and don't think I've ever had thrush before. Does this sound like it is??

Bump- I really need advice.

I've bought Canesten (the combi one) today - but I've started bleeding. Google says not uncommon with thrush but the box says dont use if bleeding?

My period isn't due.

You can definitely get thrush from taking antibiotics because they kill bacteria - bad and good ones. I recently had a really bad episode of thrush that I would normally have seen the nurse for, but since we are living in crazy times I didn't bother to try and get an appointment. I tried Canesten first, which didn't help so much. Then I started applying greek yoghurt thinly twice a day, which got rid of it after about a week. Not sure about the bleeding though; I have never experienced this with thrush. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you. I've never had thrush before so I'm just assuming that's what it is. I was all set to use the kit until the bleeding
