For about 4 weeks I've been aware that one of the glands in my neck, just below my jaw (near where your jawbone turns up by your ear), has been bigger than normal and that my lower face on that side is a little swollen (but not so anyone but me would notice).
I waited a while as I wondered if it might be a lingering effect from a virus (maybe COVID) that I had about a month ago. But last week I spoke to my GP about it and she said she'd like to get a scan to check my lymph nodes but that services were very disrupted for all the obvious reasons. So I'm now waiting to hear what happens next.
Interested to hear if anyone else has any similar experiences with their glands? I've had enlarged glands before but never noticed it having any effect on my face.
