2nd Jabs Wed & since DD has been unsettled

Not sure if it related? We normally do baby massage after bath but Wed she had no tolerance so we did as much as we could before she got unsettled.

The BM class is Thursday which she screamed so we didn't take part in, last night after her bath again she wasn't happy with baby massage and we had to stop once we had done the legs.

Tonight after her bath i got one leg done before she became unsettled she seems to be getting worse?!!?

She used to sleep through the night but Wed eve and last night she didn't, I have fingers x for tonight. About 2 weeks before sleeping through she would wake I would pick her up give her a cuddle she would fall back to sleep and I would put her back in moses basked.... but has anyone else had a similar experience after 2nd jabs? If so how long did it last? Any tips? Or am I just paranoid? With all the stuff in the press about the jabs and possible problems I am really worried now

go to doc. absolutely no point in taking any chances, and don't let them fob you off with calpol unless you are absolutely reqassured. after my ds;s MMR, he got measles, a very mild form, but god it was awful, i was reassured it was much milder thatn had he not had the jab, but it was pretty awwful, hospital admission etc, nonethelss, so be careful. i am a full firm believer in immunisations, but there is no point in leaving things to chance. good luck!

if she is eating normally and has no temperature and is not sleeping an undue amount, you could wait til monday, but temperatures that last more than 2 days...I@d take her tomorow! anyway, I'm sure you know your dd better than I do!

answered on the sleep one.

Eating is different but the same amount over 24hr period and she has no temperature just "ratty" and unsettled and waking for a night feed which she hasn't done since she was about 10 weeks.....

hey lyndag, hope she is ok now?

daisyandbabybootoo · 17/09/2007 21:13

I've just seen this and I hope your DD is OK. No advice really as my LO was really unsettled for a few days after the first jabs but was better after the second ones.

Come over and chat with us on the June Postnatal thread. Our LOs are all of a similar age and it's nice to talk through things with mums going through the same developmental stage.
