cut finger swollen and red

I have a fine cut on my right index finger since Sunday.
The whole finger is a bit swollen (bigger than on left) and stiff, I've been putting savlon on.

Should I show to the pharmacist or give it a day or so to heal. (its like a paper cut)

Savlon causes irritation in some people. Perhaps try salt water instead.

Was going to suggest exactly the same thing as @seltaeb. Do it several times a day in a glass of warm salty water and let it air dry for a day or two. See if that helps. If you feel unwell, or if you feel like the redness is moving and the swelling increases, you might need antibiotics. At the moment it is probably just healing up, but salt is a great natural antibiotic treatment.
