Constipation

I've had bad constipation for about 4 days now and was trying to ease it naturally but had no luck. I've never really experienced it before but after some research I've ordered some dulcoease to be delivered tomorrow.
However I'm in so much pain tonight and just mentioned to my neighbour over the fence how I was feeling and she's given me some sennakot max strength. On the packet it says to take 1 tablet every 24 hours, but my question is if i take one of these tonight am I able to start taking the dulcoease straight away when they arrive tomorrow? Or should I not take any until tomorrow night?

I would wait the 24 hours. You don’t want to be doubling up a dose of laxatives.

If you've got quite badly constipated then dulcoease might not work that quickly. I have to take dulcolax when I get constipated and it works in 4-10 hours depending on when and how I take it.
