Tennis elbow

Hello
I've spoken to my GP today due to pain in the elbow for a few weeks now. He has diagnosed tennis elbow but for obvious reasons cannot refer to physio at the moment. He is prescribing painkillers and gel and suggested I get a support which attaches at the top of arm and forearm but they seem to be very costly. There's other designs but I don't know what would help.
Can anyone suggest or recommend one please?

Hi op, I bought a strap from boots. It was only about £6 from memory. It had a particular pressure point like a disc to be positioned over the painful area of the tendons. I also found an ice pack helps.

My pain was in the forearm though

Ahhh I have tennis elbow too (I assume, not spoken to gp yet) and have had it for a couple of months now, I was hoping it'd be improved by now.
Anyway, I've tried both a compression support and a forearm strap to compress the ligament but to be honest, neither really help. I am just taking painkillers when it's bad and trying to do as much as possible left-handed. Cooking is a nightmare because I can't lift any pans.
Mine seems to be getting worse but I have been ignoring it until after Coronavirus settles down, I don't think there's much point me trying to speak to anyone yet.
No help sorry, but painful solidarity!
