Anemia symptoms but not anemic?

Hi, I seem to have all the symptoms of anemia, pale and tired all the time and very low energy, sometimes I feel I can barely get up off the sofa as I feel very fatigued but my test results have come back saying I am not anemic. Has this ever happened to anyone else before? Thank you.

Lots of other conditions cause similar symptoms- have you been checked for hypothyroidism, Addison’s disease and other endocrine disorders eg diabetes as a starting point? (These won’t have been checked in standard blood tests). Also check your actual results re the anaemia, often they won’t treat borderline cases on the NHS when actually taking some iron would be beneficial.

(I have anaemia, hypothyroidism, Addisons and kidney issues).

I am sure I don't have diabetes as I was tested afew years ago for it but I could have another test just to be sure I don't have it now. I had heard of hypothyroidism but I never knew much about it. I googled it and I have most of the symptoms so I will definitely ask my gp for a test once coronavirus has all calmed down.

Iron anaemia is not the only type of anaemia.
Ask for a test for B12, folate, ferritin, fbc and full thyroid panel.

Thank you for the link. I really want to find out what it is that's wrong as its interfering with my life so much, I would be willing to pay for the tests privately if they were more in depth.
