Does anyone know any more about this? I’ve googled it but am more confused than ever!!

Apparently my daughter has issues with this. But I don’t actually know what ‘this’ is!!

It's the rest and restore part of the nervous system, the opposite of the sympathetic nervous system which is related to stress-related disorders.

Thanks so much. So I’m what way does that affect the system??

What is your daughter experiencing? The parasympathetic nervous symptom is responsible for an awful lot of your functions. It governs things that we think of as happening 'automatically' like digestion and it also works to keep you calm (while the sympathetic system perks things up).

Ah ok thanks.

She’s got crps. Plus episodes of dystonia. She also has adrenal and puitory issues. Plus heaps of swelling episodes in her body and anaphylaxis.
