Varicose veins around the vulva

Has anyone else expeienced this? app its quite common but finding it hard to find info on it. Due in 6 weeks and worried about delivery HELP!

It is common and I have seen patients with them , but no personal experience.

It bloody well hurts during pregnancy as I'm sure you've found out and they have to be careful where they do an episiotomy if you need one but all goes back to normal after birth, mostly.

A couple of friends have had these during pregnancy and although they found them v. uncomfortable, they posed no problems during delivery and completely disappeared afterwards. Hope that reassures you a little bit.
