Tight thread like lines in breast

Hi all,
In absence of access to my gp I'm hoping someone here will be able to put my mind at rest as Google is drawing a blank.
So, getting undressed for my shower tonight I noticed three lines, like crease marks, which were completely distorting the shape of my right breast. First thought was that they were indents from my bra but they haven't disappeared in time and my bra was not uncomfortable today.
If I lift up my arm its as if an invisible cotton has been wrapped around my breast, vertically. It feels as if I have strings pulled under the skin.
I SWEAR i would have noticed it yesterday if it had been there.
Also, I should add that I've come down with a nasty cold today so am wondering if this is a known phenomena to do with glands when unwell? Although I suspect Dr Google would tell me if this were the case.
So...has anyone had this and knows what it is? Surely it can't be cancer appearing so suddenly? But that's the only thing that comes up on the internet.

Hi I had something, which sounds similar a few years ago - a long thread under the skin of my left breast. I was referred under the 2 week rule and had a mammogram and ultra sound. The consultant at the clinic diagnosed Mondors disease, which is a shallow vein thrombosis in the breast (they don't know the cause). No treatment was necessary and the hardness eventually disappeared. Obviously you'll need to get medical advice, but I just wanted to reassure you that it could be something not worrying. Hope you can get it seen soon.

ItAppleby this is what google was bringing up. Until you said that though I thought it was a form of cancer as they were all breast cancer sites. Thank you.
Could I just ask if you remember whether your symptoms came on suddenly?

I have posted a video enquiry to an online doctor through my health insurance.

I was doing some new exercises to strengthen my back when I noticed the creases and then felt the hard vein. It was a shock and seemed to have been a sudden change, I think I would have noticed in the shower if it'd been there a while.
