High BP in teenagers

Hoping somebody can give me some advice or information please.

DS is 16 and his BP is 138/78 which seems high to me. He saw a doctor yesterday who wasn’t concerned but I am!

Does anybody know about what could cause it to be high? He is fairly tall for his age, slim, active and eats healthily.

That isn't high though. Had he just sat down after rushing about, was he talking while the reading was being done? Was he nervous? Was he in pain? Almost anything can raise it temporarily.

Seems fine to me? My BP is usually 120/60 and my GP always says that's low

Why did he test it?
