Hi all, i have been ttc for about 9months now with baby number 2. However, since coming off my pill, and moreso in the last 3-4months, my periods have become very irregular and i've been having abdominal pain during sex and more recently in the last week I've had severe pain in my pelvis and just under the right hand side of my section wound. My daughter is almost 3 and i have never had any issues with my wound, nor do i have any signs of infection now. Seen GP today who advised pregnancy test (negative and period had come 1 week early on Saturday past so it's almost gone), urinalysis to test for uti which also was negative, vaginal swabs which have been sent to the lab and also has referred me for urgent ultrasound scan. He surmised that I could possible have been having a) an ectopic pregnancy(outruled by negative test), b) uti (again not the case), c) vaginal/pelvic infection for which i've to await the outcome of swab or d) either ovarian cyst or blighted ovum. I am experiencing stabbing pains almost constantly over the last few days. I just worry that it could possibly be an ovarian cyst and wonder if anyone had any complications with this before? I am aware they are very common and often dont cause any symptoms but am also awre that these can burst and cause infection. Has anyone had something similar going on? If so, what was the outcome of your situation? Tia x
