Hi everyone..
Anyone on here have PCOS and on metformin?
I was diagnosed with PCOS after having my 1st son 10 years ago.. and was told It was unlikely I would have any more children due to high blood results..and not ovulating. I was started on metformin a few years later aswell as the cerazette pill and then fell pregnant 2nd son is now 3.5yrs old.

When I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child ines told to stop the metformin.

Long story cut short..I was at the docs last week for check ups and bloods done etc and the doctor suggested going back on metformin...to help with facial hair and other symptoms.. my periods are more regular now due to losing a little weight and exercising over the past year and half.. so I dont know whether to restart the metformin or not???
It's been so long I cant remember if it helped with any of the symptoms except it obv helped regulate my periods and obv made me ovulate 🙈 but we are not wanting any more children.

So basically do you take it to help manage your PCOS?? Do you feel it helps?
Are you on it to help you ovulate?

Thank you xx
