Do any of your children do this?

Ds (11 months) has started to scrunch up his eyes often a bit like he's flinching and puts his head back, but it doesn't seem to be a discomfort thing. Sometimes he'll do it when he's eating something with a surprising taste or chilly -whatever- , sometimes while laughing, most often when he is very tired. DH thinks it's just a tick of some sort but thinks we should pop him down to the GP for peace of mind. Does anyone else's lo do this?

No harm in taking to GP or HV just for your own peace of mind if it is going to worry you

Just a quick reply as I'm on my way out with te kids...
My ds went through a blinking phase as a toddler and this is certainly very common. In fact tics are more common in boys than girls, especially in the 6 - 8yr age group. I shouldn't think there's anything to worry about but for peace of mund, mention it to GP at your next visit.

Thanks for that; took him today, and GP seemed to think there was nothing to worry about. Appreciate your replies.
