Stuck in a massive rut

I'm not really sure what I'm hoping to get out of this but wondering if writing it all down gives me a bit of a kick up the bum.
I feel really stuck in a rut. I've had a cough since the New Year; been to the docs and had antibiotics I suppose it's improved a bit but it's still there.
I'm about 3 stone overweight but due to this cough I've not felt like doing any exercise or anything.
I keep saying to myself, next Monday I'll pull myself round and start making an effort but come every Tuesday I'm sat on the settee with a family bar of chocolate.
I don't really know what I'm hoping for with this post anyone fancy giving me a kick up the bum?? Confused

Feeling the same so no kick up the bum from me but lurking for ideas

@Onthebrink67
We can both kick each other's butt. I'm quite proud of myself today. Instead of ligging in bed while gone 11, I went to the gym. I didn't do that much, 10 min warm up on treadmill, 10 mins on bike and 5 mins on rowing machine but I feel better and I'm more positive
Hope you've done something good today x

Walking is great. Can you listen to music on your phone or an audio book? Something fun and inspiring maybe. Could you borrow a dog? Or walk and meet a friend. The more you exercise the easier it gets and don’t just feel you have to be at the gym. Walking is a really good place to start.
