Hopefully worrying out of all proportion?

Am a bit stressed at moment as 7 mths pg and having lots of scans/tests for possible disability of baby. Yesterday we took the 2 year old to the gp, as he has one big lumpy gland and several smaller ones come up in neck. GP wants to do blood test as ds not obv ill. Have to take him tmrw and panicking that GP suspects something terrible. Prob over reacting - last straw etc but he's going to be fine isn't he?

((((((hugs)))))
Try not to worry, easier said than done i know.IMO if he is not unwell i wouldn't think it was anything terrible,i.e.tumor.GP is just being careful for once.

Hi morethan, it's probably good news you're getting a blood test for him. It'll rule out all sorts of things.

I had heaps of them as a child and they are pretty routine. My brother and I used to compete to watch whose tube filled up fastest.

Please don't worry too much, you need to be calm for your child. Results may take a week or two ime, and good luck.

Just read these - thank you! Can't help panicking, as middle ds was really poorly at same age with non specific things - was always being tested for scary stuff. (Fine now) - I had to leave work to take care of him. That's not the issue, I'm at home now, it's just a bit scary when they take you seriously! Going this morning, so loaded up with EMLA. Forgot results wd take ages.
