Blood pressure not returning to normal

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this but here goes

18 months ago I had an emergency cs with pre-eclampsia which progressed to HELLPS. It took 2 weeks in hospital for them to stabilise my bp. I continued taking the medication for 3 weeks after coming home, after which my gp advised me to stop as my bp was remaining within the normal range.

This is all good except my normal bp used to be very low. It's is now considerably higher than it was. Is this now my new normal do you think or do I need to have it looked at? The problem is that my gp just says it within the normal range.
