Embarrassing reason to be off work

I'm considering taking a day off work as I have a painful and itchy rash inside my buttocks. I can't sit still! I want to call in sick and see if I can get rid of it but don't know if I can bring myself to give the reason to my male boss. Would you just say you felt sick or something?

Just say rash x

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 27/02/2020 07:52

I'd just say I've come out in a bad rash and not specify where. Although honestly I'd probably stop by the chemist, get some cream and go to work.

LaCerbiatta · 27/02/2020 07:53

Put some hydrocortisone in and go to work!!

GiveHerHellFromUs · 27/02/2020 07:53

Yeah just tell him you've got a rash and you're not sure if it's contagious or something so that you don't have to explain you can't sit down

Frenchw1fe · 27/02/2020 07:55

Yes, just say you've got an inflamed rash.
You need barrier cream and possibly a gp appt if it's infected.

Mmmmdanone · 27/02/2020 07:59

Yeah maybe could get something that kills the pain and itch and just get on with it!

I suggest you get barrier cream and go to work
