Microscopic haematuria

Hi

I have had microscopic ( not visible) blood in my urine for as long as I'm aware of ( at least 20 years). It has been investigated and no reason has been found. Just wondered if anyone has or knows anyone with this and if a reason was ever found?

It is often idiopathic, and nothing to worry about whatsoever at this point. Microscopic blood is very rarely an issue, so long as a follow up is done. I know quite a few people with this. DP had it ongoing and it came to nothing. My mum had it constantly but did suffer repeated UTI's. Her scans and tests were always fine.

I had visible blood in mine many years ago for a while, had tests and nothing wrong. Could have been connected to periods, I don't know. I was terrified at the time as all googling said I was basically done for, but evidently not.
