Anyone else teeth click or pop into place

Hi.
I had a dentist visit a few weeks ago where he commented that I have some gum disease on my back tooth. Since then I’ve become super paranoid about cleaning them. I’m cleaning, interdental Cleaning and flossing twice a day. But I’ve noticed that my front teeth click when I eat cold things or push my tongue on them. There’s no movement in my teeth, as I’ve tried wiggling them, but I can’t work out if the clicking is normal. It feels like they are clicking into different positions.
Anyone else noticed this? I don’t know if it’s all the extra cleaning. I’m worried they’re all going to fall out or something

Mine often do that too. Especially after flossing.

I do have receding gums, but they have been doing this for years and I still have all my teeth. Sometimes they click where my gums have not receded too so I don't worry.

Yes my front tooth does this. The first time I noticed it I was pregnant and panicked my tooth was about to fall out so went to the dentist. She said it is totally normal for teeth to move and that one of her own does it every now and again!

Phew thank you. I’ve been panicking about them. There’s no receding in my front teeth and the gums are healthy on those teeth which is fine why I couldn’t work out why they now click.
I notice it if I pull my lips down over them. U2hastheedge I didn’t know if the extra flossing was to blame.

So it's not that uncommon? My bottom front teeth have recently started to have this random popping sensation. Does anyone get this?

Hello. Two of my teeth also click or pop when pushed by my tongue, while eating and when I'm gargling with mouthwash. In every click, my anxiety flares up thinking they'll fall out or wiggle in the long run. I take good care of my teeth and I never had any cavities/decays. I just don't understand why they click. I have a history of bruxism and I was prescribed with mouthguard but I stopped using it because the clicking never stops. I have so many sleepless nights because of this and I can't tell how many times I've been stressed over it.

Please tell me if this is normal because I've had it since 2019. I'm really worried that I'm going to lose them.

  • I do not have any dentures or braces.
  • I never smoke.

What about now for all of you? I had this same thing happen about a week ago and I’ve nearly cried about it at time thinking it will never go away. I’m here to know if it will ever go away in its own?
