Accutane covered by BUPA?

Hello :)

I was wondering if any of you had accutane treatment while being insured in BUPA? I am reading through their policies, but it doesn’t say anything clear. I am afraid that I will book a consultation, the doctor will tell me that I need accutane, but Bupa will refuse to pay for it. I know I have to pay for prescriptions myself, but do they cover consultation fee and blood test?

Thank you x

Hi There catscatscatseverywhere,

Thanks for posting - we're no experts in these matters so won't offer you any medical advice as we think that's best left to the experts.
However, we wanted to give this a bump for you and we hope some of our users will have some knowledge they can share with you.

Good Luck figuring out your next steps.
