Unusual sore boobs

Hi all, sorry for topic! I am 31 so no where near menopause (I hope!), I have not breastfed for 5 years, I am 100% not pregnant and I am on the mini pill continuously for the last 3 years but on/off for almost 6 years now so I do not have periods.

I do feel like I have a certain time in most months where although I don't have bleeding, I experience some period/hormonal symptoms of spotty skin, mild stomach cramps, anxiety/irritability but no breast pain. I can confidently say I've not had breast pain for years.

So now that I've given all the background info, obviously I've had sore boobs for 2 days! It's both boobs but more painful in the right boob. it's an achy and tingly sensation, can't feel any lumps, can't see anything untoward on the outside either. I have a doctor's appointment in 10 days for something unrelated so if it's still sore by then I will definitely ask gp. I just wanted to know if anyone has been in similar situation where seemingly there was NO reason for breast pain?? And what did it turn out to be for you. Thanks

Hi, hope you are not too sore. I'm not sure what this could be, sounds hormonal though, I had something similar a few years ago and went for scans etc but it all turned out to be hormonal but please, please get it checked out so at least you can put your mind at rest. Feel better soon

Thank you for replying! It does almost feel hormonal if I'm honest, it's just thrown me because it's not a normal symptom for me but I know it's very common for others during periods etc. If it still hurts when I have my docs appointment on the 20th I will definitely bring it up. I'm glad yours turned out to be nothing, I hope mine does too.
