How much liquid should ds (4yrs 11 months) be drinking?

That's it really - am also trying to get the info so that I can say to MiL - "yes, it's totally normal for ds to drink a lot, no I don't think I need to take him to the doctor ..."

Mind you, she drinks practically nothing ... thinks that eating about 10 grapes is enough to last her the day through ...

How much does ds drink? What does he drink?

He has a mug of milk first thing in the morning.

Then has 4 or 5 beakers of weak squash during the day.

He likes to have a carton of fruit juice with dinner (that's 200ml)

Then he likes to have a mug of hot chocolate before bed.

Sounds like thats fine to me, if they're thirsty let them have a drink.

Sounds fine to me also. My niece and nephew drink gallons and they're ok!!!

DD has days when she can drink lots of galsses of water. Perfectly normal.
