Dizzy after root canal

Hi had final root canal treatment yesterday and I feel so dizzy/shaky has anyone else had this?

Sorry you're feeling like this. Can you ring your dentist/Endodontist? Guessing here but could it be a reaction to the local anaesthetic?

Maybe it's been two days now. I went to the doctors who said standard response "virus" but I don't think it is. Let me know how you get on!

It’s possible to get a transient bacteraemia (bugs in the blood) after dental work which can make you feel grotty. It’s very unlikely to be a reaction to the local anaesthetic lasting this long. You need to talk to the dentist if you feel unwell - they’ll be able to tell you if anything needs doing (doctors aren’t dentists and we do next to no dental training).
