What could this pain be?

For almost a week, I've had this pain in my right side, quite high up and sometimes feels like it's under my right rib and also sometimes feels like it's towards the back as well as in my side.

I don't think it's appendicitis as I think it's too high to be that and the pain isn't that bad, it feels a bit like when you get a stitch from walking too fast, but it's there all the time.

What else could this be as it's annoying me now, but it's not that bad a pain so would feel daft going to the docs with it.

Possibly gall stone pain. Go see your GP.

Highly likely to do with your gallbladder/gallstones, see your gp x

Gall stones

Like others has said, go and see your GP. Ask for Ultrasound/CT Scan to check your Gallstones/Gallbladder.

Agree with PPs, pain referring through to the back on the right side is classic gallbladder inflammation/gallstone symptoms.

@ReturnofSaturn you're having the same issue I've had for the past week also. Yesterday was the first day I felt much better but then I got the stitch feeling today. There's an intermittent tenderness just under the right rib cage and the stitch feeling moves round to the back of the rib when it feels like it. I too have not had pain, just a nagging ache. I've had a uti recently which I had AB for and took a couple of doses but I'm going to test myself again tomorrow to see if it's clear. Not sure if it's related to the rib cage issue Sad Either way I think I will be calling the GP.
