I've made an appointment but it's not until next Tuesday.
I've had what I can only describe as discomfort for about the last five or six days. It seemed to start around my first upper premolar (on my left) and I was just aware of the tooth, rather than being in any pain as such. The tooth doesn't hurt to touch, not affected by hot or cold or sweet etc... and doesn't throb or even really ache. I've since noticed that the source of the discomfort appears to be on the front of the gum above this area and sometimes the 'aware' feeling spreads to the other molars in that area and also the ones on the bottom jaw. I had a really unpleasant metallic taste coming from the top premolar at first, though that seems to have subsided now.
I've been trying to work out what it could be as it doesn't seem to fit with an abscess, hole, crack but also not really sinus-y either.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
