Mid cycle bleed.

Sorry for TMI!
For the past 3 months I've had Pink discharge on cycle day 11 (TTC #3) and just put it down to ovulation bleed as it didnt happen any other time.

This month, I had a smear (period had just finished) then 3 days later on cycle day 9 I had the Pink discharge.
Then on cycle day 11,12 and 13 I had a mixture of Red, Brown and Pink discharge.

I absolutely pooped myself so rang the doctor who said it sounds like its thrush? Or it could be from the smear test. He wants to wait for my smear results to rule that out and hes done a prescription for canisten.

Husband did have a look down there and he said its swollen. I have had odd discharge (on and off thick creamy) and basically done everything that I'm not supposed to (perfumed products, baths, tight jean's...)

I've only had Thrush once and it was when I was pregnant with DD1 and I KNEW I had it! Is it possible to have it and not know?

Anyone else experienced this? I've obviously conceived myself it's something more sinister.

I'm experiencing exactly the same.
Finished period CD 5/6 and CD 9 has very slight bleeding. Have had tiny amounts since and now am on CD 14.
Have my smear today and absolutely terrified it's something bad!! This has been happening since October on and off and not every cycle😔
Doctors said hormones but I'm still worrying!!
Hoping it's hormones due to still breastfeeding my 19 month old.
Xx

I had this exact thing last month. Have an appointment today to discuss but I've got my actual period now so not sure if they will do a smear. From what I've been reading it seems hormonal, I had a regular smear test less than a year ago so I think it's unlikely to be anything too serious (but not impossible obviously)

Could be hormonal - I suffered in my 20s before getting pregnant, it sorted it out!!
I was checked though w smear and ultrasound.,

Could be hormonal

Yes, the is what the doctor told me yesterday. Based on my clear smear test history and no HPV as well as what she could see she wasnt worried. Had another smear anyway and a test for infection and she prescribed me a low dose birth control pill to help regulate and lighten my periods if I want and that was it.

It's more than likely nothing serious OP.

I had this and for me it’s a combination of hormones (I’m still breastfeeding my 2 year old so that’s probably something to do with it) and a cervical ectropian. Smear last week was clear and gynae happy with my cervix so just trying to ignore it!

Good luck, am sure everything is fine.
