Have had it nearly a week now....it is sooooooooo gross. Have never had one before and I don't like it!!

have you been using something with acyclovir in eg Zovirax?
if yes and it's not working you could try dabbing with surgical spirit
or perfume
or vodka

ohh I didn't know about the perfume trick. Have been using Virasorb (I think its called) for the last 6 days. Surely it should have gone by now. Will try perfume
