Itching like crazy 2 weeks after c section

Aargh. My stomach and thighs are on fire! Soooo itchy. Any suggestions what I can do?

Is there any redness or any sign of infection around your scar?

And is the itching centred around the scar - does it feel like it’s radiating outwards from the scar?

Also, are you taking any painkillers? Morphine/codeine could be causing itchiness.

I had this! No idea why. I covered myself in aqueous cream (it was all I had) and the urge to scratch myself till I bled subsided.

Thankfully I didn't get it with my second child.

It's not my scar that's itching it's my stomach around my belly button and thighs. It's absolutely persistent. I've tried cetraben (my son has this for eczema) but no luck.

Google PUPPP. It usually occurs during pregnancy, but can occur after the birth. I had it after the birth of my 2nd ds. It is usually associated with boys and bigger babies. My ds was 10lb 5oz!
It went away eventually, but it was horrible.
