Lump under scar tissue

My partner has a hard round lump under his scar, he had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago. It feels a couple of inches in Diameter and feels quite hard. He has a small keloid scar on the skin too Is this normal I can't find any thing on Google about it

I think you should get it checked by doctor as there might be an infection. I had an laparoscopy myself and had an infection. Hope this helps
