Chances of getting stomach bug?

So yesterday a friend came round to visit, I wish she didn't now because a week ago she had a stomach bug. She went back to work on Thursday and she works with children so I believe she must have been vomit free for 48hrs. So we're looking at about 9 days since she was sick. She came over, and everything she touched I bleached (pure bleach and flash bleach spray). She touched my phone which I bleached and my songs toys. But before I could bleach his toys he put the blocks she touched in his mouth. And I'm just mega paranoid now, and I don't think I'll be able to relax until Saturday when it's been 48hrs.
Whats my likelihood of having caught it? I just can't stop worrying, I hate being sick plus I have a birthday party this weekend so I can just imagine me getting ill and being miserable this weekend.

Yes I do have a phobia of vomiting. I may be being irrational! Thanks in advance

The norovirus is spread by spores found in the vomit or faeces of someone infected.

The chances that your friend still has any spores on her now are remote after 9 days.

The chances of enough of those spores transferring from her, to your son's bricks, to his mouth and then to his stomach must've nearly non-existent.

Please try not to worry (fellow emetophobe)

Thank you for your comment. I know I'm being irrational but not being able to cancel it out indefinitely makes me so anxious! It's been 24 hours and all is fine now so fingers crossed it'll stay that way!

extremely unlikely (I'm also phobic)

Did you get it? I'm sick phobic and my dd has a stomach bug atm, it's not good but I'm so tired I've given up worrying so much, I can only do what I can do!

Please go and see your GP about your anxiety.

I'd be more worried about exposing yourself and your child to the toxins in the bleach.
