Advice for "just not feeling right"

StormcloakNord · 15/01/2020 16:35

Just that, really.

I haven't felt 'well' for a solid 2/3 months now. I can't remember the last time I felt well etc.

I've had on/off headaches, feel peaky, no energy, lethargic etc etc. Now I've got a metallic taste in my mouth and I just know something isn't right.

I can hardly turn up to the doctors though and say I just don't feel right, can I?!

Advice welcome please!

I don't see why you can't

Do you have a carbon monoxide alarm that works at home?

StormcloakNord · 15/01/2020 16:55

Yeah our CO alarm is working no problem. I'll try at the doctors but they're notoriously unhelpful so I'll see what happens!

You can! If they're any use they'll at least run some routine blood tests to see you are deficient in anything. I'm going for the same reason on Wednesday next week. Felt crap for months. I was once low in vitamin B12 but right as rain after a course of injections.

Whenever I've felt like that it's been low iron.

Any chance you could be pregnant? I had all of those symptoms when I was pregnant

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 15/01/2020 17:05

I was going to ask if you could be pregnant too.

userabcname · 15/01/2020 17:05

DH felt lethargic and out of sorts- had blood tests and it was vitamin d deficiency. Also the metallic taste sounds like pregnancy.

WeirdPookah · 15/01/2020 17:08

Vitamin D deficiency is really common. Try taking supplements of those. I had blood tests showing I was chronically low and taking them helped.

I know the feeling StormcloackNord* ! But I feel like that too and was thinking of talking to the GP. They'll do some blood tests and if there is anything not quite right it will show then.

StormcloakNord · 15/01/2020 18:09

Thanks guys, I truly truly truly wish I was pregnant I really do but I've done three different brands of test and all negative.

Will make an appointment with my GP and hope for some blood tests as I just feel miserable and knackered constantly!
