Hello

Just wondered has anyone had one of these ?

I've had a colonscopy and endoscopy in last 6 weeks due to unbearable bowel problems both came back fine .

I now have to have a MRI of small bowel does this show different areas from the above?

Also waiting for sehcat scan .

Thank you

Yes. It’s the bit they can’t reach much of by sticking cameras up you (which looks at colon and rectum) and down you (which looks at oesophagus, stomach and duodenum). Good luck. I hope all goes well.

Colonoscopy is large bowel up to where it reaches the end of small bowel. Upper endoscopy can just about reach start of small bowel depending on exact procedure.

And small bowel MRI joins the dots between the two.

I hope they manage to get you sorted out and feeling better really soon.
