Hi I just wanted to make others aware of an oral contraceptive my daughters GP tried to prescribe her today as hers wasn’t available due to shortages. Luckily she researched the one she was given, Rigevidon as it is the only one we can find with an alarming number of danger stories and even a petition to ban it. I wasn’t too worried when she told me as I know every possible side effect is always issued within the packets but this went beyond those. She has already been back after refusing to take it and been prescribe d Yacella instead. I know a lot of pills are the same just different brand names only cheaper but I just wanted to let people know about this
