Metallic smell when you have a cold

Does anyone else get a metallic smell in their nose or back of their throat when you have a bit of a cold?
I tend to get it worse when I am bending downwards, (like doing the dishwasher/filling the washing machine) or lifting something heavy like my toddler

Just trying to work out if I'm going crazy or not 😂

I get that - its sinuses. I find a nasal wash helps in the early stages sometimes. Its a horrible taste though!
