About brown discharge from my cervix? What could be the issue?
Backstory: I had a small cervical erosion that was treated last year with nitrate. After following the nitrate aftercare instructions perfectly, I am left with odd yellow/green discharge. Went to GUM clinic, my results were clear for STIs. The doctor said that when she swabbed my cervix, dark brown discharge appeared so could possibly be related to the erosion treatment as it isn’t a STI.
This shouldn’t really happen after the nitrate treatment, should it? Google has me slightly panicking as it seems like it’s a sign of cervical cancer. The doctor even had to consult her manager about this which makes me more anxious, they weren’t really sure what it was!
