March 2019 I had really bad glandular fever (kind of like a severe tonsillitis) I didn’t fully recover until the end of April. Since then I suffered 9 weeks with on and off headaches and colds/flu every month. In October I got a flu jab done but I’ve still been ill 3 times since having it. I’ve tried vitamins etc but nothing seems to make a difference. It seems like since March I’ve just been ill, any suggestions as to why.
Thanks

Glandular fever has been shown to be linked to various autoimmune dieases. The Epstein Barr virus produces a protein called EBNA2 which binds to several locations in the human genome, which are linked to autoimmune conditions.

It takes a long time to recover from glandular fever, not unusual for someone to be out of action for a year.
