Hiccup cures

I put this in the health section because when I get hiccups they do seriously impact me where I actually feel sick.

Whenever I get hiccups, it doesn't happen often, thank goodness but when I do get them, it feels as if my chest goes into spasm and I get sore and I actually feel sick with them. Then they go on for what seems like forever. It's usually about 10 minutes. I jist don't have this time to be sick. I drink water backwards and hold my breath and nothing works. I already got hiccups twice today and I know the pattern now. I might get them again later on another time or two more times then I mightn't get anything again for another few more weeks and then I might get hiccups 2/3/4 times in a day.

It's a nightmare when my chest goes into spasm.

I close my eyes, hold my breath and picture a white horse galloping down a beach.

Something about the motion of the horse seems to offset the rhythm of the hiccups - or at least, that’s my logic for why it works!
