Constipation help!!

Help!!! Belly so swollen I look 6 months pregnant (and definitely not!) can't 'go' properly and have taken lactulose for two days now- just makes me have bad wind! Sorry TMI!!

Any advice welcome x

Glycerol suppositories
I used this when I had faecal impaction (Blush) with my second and third child. The relief - nice I could shove them up there - was immense and fairly quick

You can get Microlax or Microlette enemas over the counter (boots or similar) they work well and are tiny.
However glycerine suppositories are great (I have a non functioning bowel so they are the only way I 'go') Also available in Boots OTC.
Moisten, shove in and lie on your left side with a hot drink... usually work in 20 mins.
